WeddingS
Oh, a wedding day.
There is nothing like it. It's a day that you've been dreaming of, and a day you'll never forget. The dress, the flowers, the shoes, the little sentimental items sprinkled throughout, the friends and family from all over, the vows, the hugs, the kisses, the laughter, the dancing your heart out until it's time for that final celebratory exit. It's the celebration of the love you've found in that special someone, and it's the first day you step foot into the absolute best adventure.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings of all sizes - from big celebrations to smaller, more intimate gatherings. Each wedding has brought its own magic and the most beautiful memories! As time has gone by, though, I find myself drawn to a more intimate approach to capturing these unforgettable days.
Why the Shift?
I’ve become more passionate about family sessions and the simple, yet profound connections that unfold in a smaller and more personal setting. There’s something incredibly special to me about the emotional depth of a smaller wedding—a sense of being truly present, surrounded by your closest loved ones, and focusing on the moments that matter most.
It feels like the time is right for me to narrow in on smaller weddings. It’s a chance to be part of a couple’s day in a way that feels deeply meaningful and allows for more intimacy, more time, and more personal attention to every detail. There’s a beautiful feel to these celebrations, and it’s something I noticed I was always genuinely excited to capture.
What Does This Mean for You?
If you’re planning a smaller scale wedding—whether it’s an elopement, a destination wedding, or a celebration with just your closest family and friends—I would love to be there to document your day! I’m now focusing on weddings with guest counts under 100, so I can dedicate even more time to getting to know you and your loved ones, and ensure that every moment is captured authentically.
I want to emphasize that large weddings will always have a special place in my heart! The energy, the grand celebrations, and the big groups of friends and family joining from far and wide - it has been and always will be incredibly powerful, beautiful, and FUN to photograph. But, for now, I’m prioritizing smaller weddings because it’s where I’m most confident, and where I feel I can offer the best photography experience.
Whether it’s a quiet moment alone at the top of a mountain or the joyful laughter shared in a small group of family members and friends, I am honored to capture these stories in the most genuine way possible.
