Ashlyn's senior session
Can we all just admit that there are certain weaknesses we each have in our given field? In photography, one of mine is absolutely blogging and keeping social media updated. 🥲 I think it is primarily difficult because during the day, I have two hooligans running around making noise + asking questions all throughout my attempt to type something up, and then by the time they're in bed, my brain is toast. Ha. But, it makes me so sad to think that barely even a glimpse gets shared of sessions like these that are fun, beautiful, and so life-giving for me! So today I'm forcing myself to stop moving, sit down, and share these photos. Hope you all enjoy!!
If it isn't immediately obvious from the photos, Ashlyn is such a beautiful person inside and out! She has a quiet kindness that is so calming to be around, and I loved having the chance to capture photos of her around Wichita, as well as get some extra time to just chat and get to know each other a bit more.
We of course bopped up to one of my favorite spots for photos downtown, and when I say the sky *showed up* and cranked the evening up a notch, I'm not exaggerating! It's always such a fun surprise when the clouds and sunshine add an extra touch of magic to the session. But Ashlyn was a source of photo magic all her own, as proven by my constant (and hopefully not too annoying) shouts of "SO CUTE!" and "Ahhhhh so beautiful!" Because I mean seriously who can blame me, she looked stunning in every single shot! A photographer can only keep her chill for so long when the session is this fun.
I mean, come on. That last shot?! I hope I can be as cool as her when I grow up. Anyways, thank you again Ashlyn for being super fun to work with and just for being the person you are! Being your photographer was an honor!
